Iran's National Petroleum Company (NPC) recently announced that the company will invite bids for the construction of its No.11 olefin
hydrocarbon, chlor alkali and isocyanate projects in the second half of this year
the company said that the No. 11 olefin project will use 100% ethane as raw material, and the design capacity of ethylene is 1million tons/
year; The chlor alkali project is planned to reach 21billion yuan in Asia, with a production capacity of 500000 tons/year; The design capacity of the isocyanate project is 40000 tons/year of toluene diisocyanate (TDI) and 40000 tons/year of diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI)
